Magento announced a partner relief program for COVID several months ago, which Ben Marks is running now.

They are working with partner developers in a paid capacity to accelerate the product roadmap and get some features into certain releases that otherwise wouldn’t have made it.

And Bitergia is one of the tools being used to track things. Different projects are run using different tools and it’s been a nice central place to collect things.

The premise behind is that they have our open source stats and we don’t mind sharing them for everyone to see and to kind of show their homework.

There is a query builder and there is a lot that people can do to drill into this data.

It’s like salesforce but for developer analytics.

I personally feel that the program to finance partners is just brilliant on so many levels – some companies are doing really well right now and others are very much struggling, and this is a powerful way to finance those that are struggling while accelerating the core product and strengthening the Magento community.
